Subject: Urgent Attention Required for Poor Conditions of the Local Hospital
Sir,
I would be highly obliged (অনুগ্রহ করা) if you kindly allow me a little space in the esteemed columns of your newspaper so that I may express my concern regarding the unacceptable condition of the hospital in our locality.
We reside in Basirhat (বাসিরহাট), where the situation of the local hospital has worsened (খারাপ হয়েছে) over time. The hospital is in a chaotic (অগোছালো) state, with little attention paid to cleanliness (পরিচ্ছন্নতা). The environment is extremely unhygienic, with garbage scattered (ছড়িয়ে ছিটিয়ে থাকা) all over. Essential services such as electricity and water are often unavailable, adding to the misery (দুর্দশা) of the patients.
Further, the lack (অভাব) of trained staff and doctors adds to the suffering of the people. Many of them prioritize (অগ্রাধিকার দেওয়া) their private practices over their duties at the hospital, leaving patients unattended for hours. The beds are insufficient and unhygienic, and the food provided to patients is of extremely poor quality.
In view of all these problems, I strongly urge the authorities to take immediate steps to address this situation. The negligence has already caused significant dissatisfaction (অসন্তোষ) among the public, and it is crucial to improve the state of the hospital before it leads to more severe consequences (পরিণাম).

আমি অত্যন্ত অনুগ্রহিত (obliged) হব যদি আপনি আপনার সংবাদপত্রের সম্মানিত কলামে আমাকে কিছু স্থান দেন যাতে আমি আমাদের স্থানীয় হাসপাতালের অগ্রহণযোগ্য অবস্থার বিষয়ে আমার উদ্বেগ প্রকাশ করতে পারি।
আমরা বাসিরহাট (Basirhat) এ বাস করি, যেখানে স্থানীয় হাসপাতালের অবস্থা সময়ের সাথে খারাপ হয়েছে (worsened)। হাসপাতালটি অগোছালো (chaotic) অবস্থায় রয়েছে, যেখানে পরিচ্ছন্নতা (cleanliness) এর প্রতি সামান্য মনোযোগ দেওয়া হয়। পরিবেশ অত্যন্ত অস্বাস্থ্যকর, যেখানে আবর্জনা ছড়িয়ে ছিটিয়ে (scattered) রয়েছে। মৌলিক পরিষেবাগুলি যেমন বিদ্যুৎ এবং জল প্রায়ই অপ্রাপ্য থাকে, যা রোগীদের দুর্দশা (misery) বাড়িয়ে তোলে।
তাছাড়া, প্রশিক্ষিত কর্মী ও চিকিৎসকের অভাব (lack) রোগীদের দুঃখ বাড়িয়ে তোলে। তাদের অনেকেই হাসপাতালে দায়িত্বের চেয়ে তাদের ব্যক্তিগত প্র্যাকটিসকে অগ্রাধিকার (prioritize) দেন, ফলে রোগীদের ঘণ্টার পর ঘণ্টা অবহেলিত অবস্থায় থাকতে হয়। বিছানাগুলি অপর্যাপ্ত এবং অস্বাস্থ্যকর, এবং রোগীদের জন্য দেওয়া খাবার অত্যন্ত নিম্নমানের।
আমি দৃঢ়ভাবে কর্তৃপক্ষকে এই পরিস্থিতির মোকাবিলায় অবিলম্বে পদক্ষেপ নিতে আহ্বান জানাচ্ছি। অবহেলা ইতিমধ্যেই জনসাধারণের মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য অসন্তোষ (dissatisfaction) সৃষ্টি করেছে, এবং হাসপাতালের অবস্থার উন্নতি করা জরুরি, অন্যথায় এটি আরও মারাত্মক পরিণাম (consequences) সৃষ্টি করতে পারে।
