Omission and Incorrect Use of Prepositions
(প্রিপোজিশনের অনুপস্থিতি এবং ভুল ব্যবহার)

1. Transitive Verb-এর পর Preposition ব্যবহারের প্রয়োজন নেই

কিছু Transitive Verb (সক্রিয় ক্রিয়া) সরাসরি Object গ্রহণ করে, তাই তাদের পর কোনো Preposition ব্যবহার করা যায় না।

Transitive Verb: এটি এমন একটি ক্রিয়া যা সরাসরি একটি Object (কর্ম বা পদার্থ) গ্রহণ করে এবং বাক্যকে সম্পূর্ণ অর্থবহ করে তোলে। এই ধরনের ক্রিয়ার পর Preposition ব্যবহারের প্রয়োজন হয় না।

• ✔️ I will meet you tomorrow. (❌ meet with you ভুল) → meet (Transitive Verb) + you (Object)
• ✔️ They arrested the culprit. (❌ arrested to the culprit ভুল) → arrested (Transitive Verb) + the culprit (Object)
• ✔️ She discussed the issue. (❌ discussed about the issue ভুল) → discussed (Transitive Verb) + the issue (Object)
• ✔️ We completed our assignment. (❌ completed of our assignment ভুল) → completed (Transitive Verb) + our assignment (Object)

2. Place এবং Time-এর আগে Preposition অনুপস্থিত থাকে

কিছু নির্দিষ্ট সময় এবং স্থানের ক্ষেত্রে Preposition ব্যবহারের প্রয়োজন নেই। যেমন—

• ✔️ I arrived home last night. (❌ in last night ভুল)
• ✔️ She is traveling abroad. (❌ to abroad ভুল)
• ✔️ Wait a moment, please. (❌ wait for a moment ভুল)
• ✔️ The kids are playing outside. (❌ playing on outside ভুল)

3. Some Time Expressions-এর আগে Preposition ব্যবহারের নিয়ম

যখন this, that, next, last, every, all ইত্যাদি শব্দ morning, evening, day, night, month, year ইত্যাদির আগে থাকে, তখন Preposition থাকে না।

• ✔️ He left last evening. (❌ in last evening ভুল)
• ✔️ They are visiting next Monday. (❌ on next Monday ভুল)
• ✔️ We met this morning. (❌ in this morning ভুল)

তবে, যদি এগুলোর আগে কোনো নির্দিষ্ট Modifier না থাকে, তাহলে Preposition প্রয়োজন হয়—

• ✔️ He left in the evening.
• ✔️ She will visit in the morning.
• ✔️ We have an event on Sunday.

4. Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow-এর আগে কোনো Preposition লাগে না

Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow শব্দগুলোর আগে কখনোই Preposition ব্যবহারের প্রয়োজন হয় না।

• ✔️ She will arrive tomorrow. (❌ on tomorrow ভুল)
• ✔️ I completed the project today. (❌ on today ভুল)
• ✔️ We met yesterday. (❌ on yesterday ভুল)

5. Home-এর আগে Preposition ব্যবহারের নিয়ম

Home শব্দটির আগে সাধারণত Preposition ব্যবহার করা হয় না। তবে নির্দিষ্ট কিছু পরিস্থিতিতে Preposition যুক্ত হতে পারে।

• ✔️ He went home early. (❌ to home ভুল)
• ✔️ They are coming home soon. (❌ to home ভুল)

তবে, যদি "home" এর আগে possessive adjective থাকে বা "home" house অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়, তাহলে Preposition যুক্ত হয়—

• ✔️ He went to his home.
• ✔️ They returned to my home.

6. দুটি ভিন্ন Preposition-এর প্রয়োজন হলে উভয়টিই ব্যবহার করতে হবে

যদি দুটি আলাদা Verb আলাদা Preposition গ্রহণ করে, তবে উভয়টি লিখতে হবে। একটি Preposition বাদ দিলে বাক্যটি অর্থহীন হয়ে যাবে।

• ✔️ I have been thinking about and waiting for your response.
• ✔️ She was looking for and enquiring about the matter.

কিছু Verb-এর পর Preposition ব্যবহারের প্রয়োজন নেই, কিন্তু অনেক সময় ভুল করে Preposition বসানো হয়।

🔴 ভুল:

• ❌ She attacked on the enemy.
  ✔️ She attacked the enemy.
• ❌ I await for your reply.
  ✔️ I await your reply.
• ❌ He accompanied with me.
  ✔️ He accompanied me.
• ❌ The police are investigating into the case.
  ✔️ The police are investigating the case.
• ❌ I shall inform to you later.
  ✔️ I shall inform you later.
• ❌ This book comprises of five chapters.
  ✔️ This book comprises five chapters.
• ❌ He reached at the station early.
  ✔️ He reached the station early.
• ❌ She resembles to her mother.
  ✔️ She resembles her mother.
• ❌ The protesters resisted to the new law.
  ✔️ The protesters resisted the new law.
• ❌ He violated to the rules.
  ✔️ He violated the rules.

কিছু Verb-এর পরে Preposition বসে না তার আরোও উদাহরন

নিচের Verbs-এর পরে Preposition বসানো ভুল—

7️⃣ "Let", "Bid", "Make", "See", "Watch", "Feel", "Hear" ইত্যাদি verb-এর পর Infinitive (to) থাকে না

নিচের verb-গুলোর পর Infinitive (to) ব্যবহার করা ভুল—

🔸8. "Help" এর পরে "to" ব্যবহার ঐচ্ছিক (Optional)

• ✔️ She helped me (to) complete the work.
• ✔️ Can you help me (to) solve this problem?

🔹 মনে রাখার ট্রিক

✅ "He Entered the Room, Discussed the Topic, and Ordered Coffee."
(এখানে enter, discuss, order—কোনোটার পরই preposition নেই!)

✅ "He went Home, Abroad, and Outside Yesterday, Last Sunday, and Every Morning."
(এখানে home, abroad, outside, yesterday, last Sunday, every morning—এর আগে preposition নেই!)
